Congratulations to the U14 girls and
Coach Epps for finishing a strong second place this past
weekend in the Three Point Line - Spring Shootout.
This was the teams first tournament
of the season and showed signs of great things to come
this year.
Virginia Storm Has Big Impact on
Amelia Academy's Season
Amelia Academy beat Southampton
Academy 51 to 45 to win the 2008 Virginia Commonwealth
Conference Championship. The team will compete for the
state championship.

and players made big contributions to Amelia Academy's
successful season:

Mission
Statement
The
Virginia Storm is an organization formed to develop positive values
in youth through team sports. The Virginia Storm offers valuable
opportunities for our youth ages 10-16 in the Chester/Chesterfield
area. Through our basketball program, we strive to develop not only
athletic skills, but also the positive values of sportsmanship,
physical fitness, team play, competitive spirit, and loyalty.
Qualities that can be instilled in our youth through their
"tournament" experiences and will only enhance their
success in many phases of their life path.
